Bill Murray Confirms Ghostbusters 3

 Bill Murray confirmed his role as a ghost in the upcoming installment in the Ghostbusters franchise. Murray told The Mail:

"I'll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.' So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film"

New Transformers cartoon to be named Transformers: Prime

A new cartoon based on Hasbro's Transformers will be named "Transformers: Prime" according to actor Jeffrey Combs who's voicing Rachet in the upcoming cartoon.

"Jeffrey will be the voice of Ratchet, a very well known character in the Transformers world. There are 26 episodes scheduled for the first season. Jeffrey is quite thrilled with the opportunity to be cast in the role of Ratchet. He's not able to talk too much about the show this early in the production but did have this quote: "What I can say is that it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a prestigious project. Transformers: R.O.T.F nominated for worst film at Razzie Awards

Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been nominated for the worst film of the year accolade at the Razzie Awards.

First Picures of Transformers War of Cybertron Toys

The first pictures of Optimus Prime and Megatron from the new Transformers: War of Cybertron toy line have surfaced, based on the upcoming video game from Activision out soon on Xbox 360, PS3 & PC.

Michael Bay updated his blog with some info on Transformers 3

"Busy scouting - Chicago, Detroit, and Washington D.C. for Transformers last week. Things are going well. The script is feeling very different from the other two."

Personally I hope that "The script feeling very different from the other two" means more robot character development, no juvenile toilet humour, less gaping wide plot holes and generally a tighter affair all round. We can only hope! That said, this is Michael Bay we're talking about here so expect gratuitous shots of Megan Fox, huge explosions, dog humping and ball jokes....just less of them.

Rumor: Gremlins 3 & Ghostbusters 3 To Be Shot In 3D?

A rumor for now but apparantly Ghostbusters 3 and also the Gremlins sequel being planned will both be in 3D.
